Gospel Kanji is a mission to bring the message of Jesus Christ to one of the most unreached nations in the world, Japan, while equipping believers to grow in their faith and share it with clarity and confidence.
At the center of this effort is 50 Days Through the Gospel in Kanji, a devotional designed to help Christians see and understand the story of the Bible through the visual language of Kanji. Each page becomes a tool, something a believer can grasp, remember, and share with others.
Our goal is to place thousands of these devotionals into the hands of pastors and mission-minded churches across the United States, equipping believers to actively participate in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19).
As this foundation grows, Gospel Kanji will expand into a fully searchable video library, translated resources, and new media designed to carry the gospel across cultural and language barriers, reaching both English and Japanese audiences.
Through this work, everyday believers are invited to grow in their faith and become part of taking the message of Jesus to the nations, including Japan.
Before Gospel Kanji, there were lives given to Japan.
This is the story of Ron and Katie Sisco, a journey marked by war, hardship, faith, and a calling that would take them to Japan for over 25 years. From childhood in WWII internment camps, to broken family beginnings, to a clear call from God, their lives became part of something much bigger. This is not just a story about the past. It is a reminder that God has been working in Japan all along, and the mission is not finished.
